Yeah I was the only artist who new what a comic was back in Marvel’s AOL days. I need to stick some of my early work up, I got to do finishes over Sal Buscema among others. Lot’s of cheap three-d and other effects loaded in.

Haunted man was a Dark Horse Comic for an issue and a long web comic in Flash. Someday I’ll get it up again.

Typical male response, great chapter. It’s gonna be great to finally have this in a book (but it’ll be missing those cool effects.. oh, well).

Did you work on those early webcomics? We’re talking early-mid 90s here, right? I never saw but only heard of a Spider-man online comic. What the hell is Haunted Man, though??

There’s a Ditko story about getting bled to death because people keep asking for simple things, it always struck me as so wrong in so many ways, to bad he draws so nice ’cause Randian Libertarians are total nuts.

Thanks for sharing crops and actual pages of your terrifc art from The Score which at this point seems to have gone the way of underground classic. I’m a proud owner of two and 1/2 pages I bought from you at a con many moons ago. Sorry DC/Vertigo never saw fit to keep in print, it deserves a wider audience.

It’s a hard balance to publicly think about your own work, between “please tell me I’m wonderful because I’m an insecure artist” to “It’s really valuable to pull my work apart and think about what I’m doing as I try to figure out what to do”. What works best I dunno, but I find thinking about my work keeps it alive in a way just doing it doesn’t.
