Can I do a layer of thumbnails for a page in 15 minutes. For the next week I am going to approach thumbnails for this story in fifteen minute blocks. What fifteen minutes does is force me to think in terms of big shapes and what the overall graphic flow of the page is. For fifteen minutes I should be able to sustain concentration for because it’s a small amount of time.
I find the drawing of the grid every time forces me into the page and thinking about the whole page, time doing abstract compositions is pushing me back toward icons, it would be nice to solidify the iconic approach to characters somehow in my head
