So I’m beginning to see that Gerry thinks about writing as a sentence per panel, with a couple of connected balloons resolving themselves into a full thought. Or perhaps it’s just me taking his massive texts and fit them into the pages. The interesting thing about web screens is pulling the text apart into small panels for bits and pieces makes the pages more visually scanable.

Chaykin based visual density on screen falls apart because of the clicking and speed of the web. I suspect the goal of animation is to make the visual structure time based.
